Teah (2024) – Production Assistant
Short Film, dir. Taf Diallo | The Canadian Film Centre | 2023 Actor’s Conservatory
Oversaw and organized craft services. Ensured no outside trespassing onto set by the public. Supported art and production teams. The film explores relationships, ambition, and the many paths one’s life may take based on their choices.
Kofi (2024) – Production Assistant
Short Film, dir. Marianna Phung | The Canadian Film Centre | 2023 Actor’s Conservatory
Provided support for production and art departments. The film explores relationships, especially those that echoes one’s past. It demonstrates the lengths that someone may go through to protect their family.
Memories of Love (2021) – Director, Animator & Editor
Video Essay for CIN420 | The University of Toronto Cinema Studies Institute
The goal of this project was to explore familial relationships through fond childhood memories. A collection of various films and television shows that characterized my childhood, this short film is a love letter to my family. Equal parts melancholic and nostalgic, I tried to channel the haze of memories through editing and voiceover. Please see video description for the accompanying statement.
Plastic Video (2021) – Director & Editor
Video Essay for CIN420 | The University of Toronto Cinema Studies Institute
The goal of this project was to adapt the essay “Auditory Hellscapes: Lynchian Sound as a Tool of Discomfort”, highlighting how David Lynch’s films make his audience feel based on his expert use of sound. The following essay is meant to convey anxieties of fatherhood and impending doom. It takes an abstract approach. Please see video description for the accompanying statement.
